Clean Cutter
Convert boolean cutter objects back to regular mesh objects with automatic cleanup and collection management.
Basic Usage
- Select cutter objects (wireframe display objects)
- Access via:
- Right-click → Object Context Menu → bBlockout submenu -> Clean Cutter
- Search Menu (F3) → “Clean Cutter”
- Objects are cleaned and restored:
- Wireframe display removed
- Rendering enabled
- Moved to active collection
- Flat shading applied
- Parent relationships cleared
Features
Smart Duplication
When selected cutters are still being used by modifiers:
- Displays warning dialog listing affected objects
- Creates cleaned duplicates with “_cleaned” suffix
- Preserves original cutters for continued use
- Automatically selects the cleaned objects
Automatic Cleanup
- Display Mode: Converts from wireframe to textured display
- Rendering: Re-enables objects for rendering
- Shading: Applies flat shading to all faces
- Parenting: Clears parent relationships while maintaining position
- Collection: Moves from “Cutters” collection to active collection
